SO I RECENTLY MOVED TO THE GRAND CANYON WHERE THE TEMPERATURE RARELY GOES ABOVE 90 UP ON THE SOUTH RIM. ON OCCASION I HAVE DRIVEN DOWN TO PHOENIX WHERE IT AVERAGES ABOUT 105 THIS TIME OF YEAR. AS SOON AS THE OUTSIDE AIR TEMP GETS AROUND 90 OR HIGHER THE CAR STARTS TO RUN ROUGH. WHEN I AM STRAIGHT AND LEVEL YOU CAN BARELY FEEL IT BUT THEN WHEN YOU START UP A HILL OR ACCELERATE OFF OF A STOP. IT FEELS LIKE ITS GOING TO STALL. IT WILL ACCELERATE, THEN ITS LIKE THE GAS IS JUST TURNED OFF, THEN IT WILL ACCELERATE AGAIN AND KEEP DOING THIS. WHEN I PUSH THE CLUTCH IN IT RUNS A LITTLE ROUGH BUT IT HAS NEVER STALLED.

YESTERDAY I WAS DOWN IN PHOENIX AND THE CAR WAS RUNNING GREAT. TEMP WAS ABOUT 88. I STOPPED TO DO SOME SHOPPING AND WHEN I STARTED MY CAR AFTER IT SAT FOR ABOUT 30 MINUTES IT RAN EXTREMELY ROUGH LIKE IT WAS GOING TO STALL BUT DID NOT STALL, THEN THE RPMS SPIKED UP TO ABOUT 2000 RPM'S THEN IT SMOOTHED OUT MOSTLY BUT NOT COMPLETELY. THEN IT RAN FINE THE REST OF THE 150 MILES BACK UP TO THE HIGH COUNTRY.

I HAVE REPLACED THE THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR, CLEANED THE FUEL INJECTORS AND THROTTLE BODY, NEW SPARK PLUGS, NEW DISTRIBUTOR CAP, NEW FUEL FILTER, HAVE ALWAYS USE PREMIUM FUEL, NEW AIR FILTER AND A NEW FUEL PUMP ABOUT 5000 MILES AGO. IT DOES NOT SEEM TO HAVE THE POWER IT USED TO WHEN IT LIVED IN GEORGIA. IT IS JUST IN THE PAST COUPLE MONTHS IT HAS DONE THIS. IT RAN GREAT THE 2000 MILES OUT HERE. IT FEELS LIKE THE ENGINE IS REALLY BOGGED DOWN OR LIKE THERE IS NOT ENOUGH AIR GETTING IN OR TOO MUCH AIR. ITS LIKE ITS KINDA CHOKED OUT. MY GAS MILEAGE IS STILL GOOD AVERAGING ABOUT 30 ON THE HIGHWAY AND 26 IN THE CITY.

ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS.
