I have a 2000 9-3 vert. I was very unhappy with FM modulators (wired or unwired) and since I burn all my music to Ipod I decided to do the internal CD mod. There's a link somewhere on this site but in a nutshell it entails taking the CD input of the circuit board and wiring an Ipod cable to it...then you play a blank CD (I made an 80 min. blank) which fools the unit into thinking a cd is playing and the Ipod plays through.
I actually have a pro-clips mount that charges my Ipod too
