I posted a thread a couple weeks ago about my own stalling issues after a cold start, and it lists a number of possible causes I dug up. Sounds like your case is a bit different than mine, but you still might find some clues there.
Keep in mind that when you press on the accelerator, you're not directly giving the car more gas, you're giving it more air through the throttle valve. The engine computer and fuel delivery system are then responsible for adding the right amount of gas to mix with the air.
You should also look for a recent thread about high-beams not working, as there's a chance your headlight issue might not be as simple as a burned-out bulb. There's a relay that often goes bad and causes some odd symptoms, so you might want to check it before trying a new bulb.
What Saab dealer are you taking it to? Have you thought of asking the dealer you bought from to order parts for you under warranty, or would they require that you bring the car to them for service?
