I always replace mine with a cheaper version. Ford Mustang, for $50 and you have to splice into the harness. Don't know why Volvo's and Saab's are so darn expensive. People have also just heated the old 02 sensor with MAP gas a rejuvenated them. After the engine warm, just check the voltage output. Replacement is needed because they get old and slow to change voltages in order to keep up with the information sent to the ECU.
