I don't have a lot of experience with NG convertibles but have had 5 C900 convertibles. Saabs makes very good tops but the place they fall down first is the rubber gaskets. The car is 11 years old so my guess is the gaskets are starting to deteriorate a bit. The most vulnerable place on the NG's is along the top of the windshield. I would take a close look at the rubber there and consider the possibliltiy of replacing it. The rubber along the windows could be suspect too, but usually it takes windblown rain to leak there. The other possiblity is that the latch mechanism is developing a certain amount of slack from wear. On the C900 they can be adjusted but you'll have to see for yourself if there is a way to adjust it so it latches down tighter. Look for signs of wear anywhere in the mechanism. Also remember that water can migrate a long ways from where it's actually leaking--good luck.
