So, it sounds like what you're saying is you have an intermittent problem that seems to be fuel related. This isn't the end of the world, and you can figure it out rather easily. If the car cranks, but doesn't fire and you know the ignition system is working, and the fuel pump is delivering fuel but the engine isn't getting the fuel. That leads me to believe you have an electrical issue with the fuel injectors themselves. The first thing I would look at are all the ground points, then all electrical connections. Chances are you've lost the ground to the fuel injection system or you've got a loose connection in that portion of the wire harness. It may take some time to narrow it down, but patience will pay off.
