I read up on this a while back. My finding was that depth isn't so much the issue as height. From what I read, if you can get rid of the cup holder and trim a bit off the bottom of the SID, you have a fit. I use my cup holder, so this wasn't an option for me. Bummer.
If you do end up doing this, please take pictures and do a write up! If you don't know what to do with it, I'll put it on my website.
