This should be moved to the 9-5 board, but the airbag probably comes out just like the 9-3. This is the procedure I've used to remove the steering wheel.
1.Disconnect the battery so that you don't throw a SRS light.
2.There are two little plugs on the side of the steering wheel. Pull the plugs out.
3.Loosen the two torx screws until the spring pops them out. Note: the spring holds them in the steering wheel so they only need to be loose to get the airbag out.
4.The airbag can now be pulled away from the steering wheel.
5.Disconnect the three connectors that connect the airbag.
6.To remove the steering wheel loosen the 22mm(?) nut and pull the wheel off taking care to feed the cables through the steering wheel.
