It really seemed to be an electrical problem (which it was in part I guess). No power steering should have been my first clue it was otherwise. Like you said Makis, it was running fine otherwise and fast as I noticed the temp gauge all the way up it dropped right down and sat there while various lights dimmed blinked on/off and so on. . Didnt smell anything or see anything indicating it was overheating but I'm with you Ron. Think I must have done damage. It was a good 20+ before i shoulda/coulda pulled over. So... what engine would you guys drop in the car?
