Reverse lockout seems to have broken after inspection.. Posted by turrbo [Email] (#8) [Profile/Gallery] (more from turrbo) on Mon, 8 Jun 2009 19:59:44 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I just realized that the reverse lockout on my 5-speed no longer works. I'm about 90% sure the guy at the gas station that did the state inspection did it because he was fiddling with it for awhile trying to get it in reverse before I ran over.
I replaced the shift knob right after I got the car, and I know it worked after I replaced it. Pretty much the only symptom is I don't have to pull up on the collar to get it in or out of reverse. Still need to have it in reverse to get the key out.
What can I do about this? I guess it's not crucial, but I liked it. Car is a 2001 9-3 'vert.
Thanks!
