most common cause of left high beam not working is the orange lamp control relay in the relay box under the hood.
You can usually turn on the high beams and then wiggle the relay and the left high beam will come on.
Some people on this site have repaired the relay by resoldering the faulty pin in the relay.
I think the price of the relay at a dealer is around $160-$180.
