If it looks good, namely the interior, wheels, the body (is it straight?), etc., I'd go for it despite it's history. You could still flip it or part it out to make most of your money back. So that's the worst case scenario.

I'd assume that there is some reason it sat for so many years as 2 years ago that car would have been worth quite a bit of cash. Eitherway, what can you get a 1999 Viggen for? Subtract $3.5K and that's what you have to work with if you're mechanically inclined and don't mind some work.

If it's a coupe and you decide you're not interested, let me know. I'd love a spare Viggen coupe for Autocross!
