Serp belt and pulley question

I'll be doing the serp belt and pulleys on the new to me '99 9-3 SE I just got for #2 kid. The car is coming up on 148K and there's almost 50K on the belt and pulleys. So it's due.

The indy who worked on it (great service history!) noted on a recent RO that the belt is starting to ride off the pulley, so I'm thinking at this point in the car's life it's due for a tensioner. Any thoughts? For $80 it seems like it makes sense so I don't have to think about it, but any thoughts from here are welcome as I know my two 9Ks but this model is new to me.

Anything I need to know in doing the belts? Any left handed bolts? What's the best way to relieve tension on the belt?
