Yeah, not very flat.... Once you've folded the seat bases up against the front seat backs and pulled the front seats forward for clearance (once the rear seat back is folded you can slide the front seats back, but you mash them into the rear seat base cushions) and removed the headrests from the rear seat back and folded it down as far as it will go, it ain't very flat. The trunk floor is several inches below the folded seat base separated by a metal beam that gets in the way too.
An awesome amount of space, but not a flat floor that would be good for sleeping for example.
The 9-5 SportWagon is the Saab with the truly flat floor.
