I don't want to be a net hog, but it seems the questions come in droves. This issue is one concerning a friend who has finally taken my advice and is saving his number one old classic car by driving something else in the winter. The something else is the same model and year 900 as mine, except it is a 900 SE [no turbo] and it has four doors rather than two. The car was his sons, but now he is a big shot and is leasing a new Saab. Now Dad has a winter car. The only problem he is facing with this car is the result of an unfortunate meeting his son, the 900 and a deer had a year or so ago. One of the doors is in need of replacement. Could anyone suggest a good source to get a replacement door. We are operating out of Western New York. I guess the region does not matter, as the Good Old Southern doors would not have the problems that result from the use of salt in the road.
Regards Bill
