I second this, financially it's just not worth it. However, any engine can be turbocharged if the proper precautions are made. With that said, it's unlikely you could turbocharge that engine and be even remotely as fast as a 2.0 turbo with the same value in performance modifications. In order to turbocharge that engine you would need at least one custom exhaust manifold, but two would be smarter; there's a slight possibility you could use manifolds off a GM 3.1 turbo from the mid-90's, but that's very slight. You would need to increase your fuel flow by the means of a larger pump, larger injectors, stronger fuel pressure regulator, or some combination of these parts. You would need the turbocharger obviously, a new air cleaner, an intercooler and associated plumbing, an APC system off a C900, a blow-off valve, and then you'd have to find a place to tap into the oil supply, as well as a source and return for your coolant supply, and a customization to the block or oil pan to return the oil from the turbo the the crankcase. Also, you'd need a new custom downpipe to connect to your exhaust. You could possibly get by without a software upgrade, but to do it right you would really need one and I don't know if anybody offers performance tuning for the V6. You'll need a boost gauge, a pyrometer, and a wideband oxygen sensor/gauge to monitor and fine tune the performance. Then, when all is said and done, you don't even know how long your engine can handle the boost because it was built to be naturally aspirated. For all that, you'll possibly get 250-275hp out of the engine, but will most likely throw a rod within 20,000 miles.
Now, I haven't tried to do the math to estimate how much all this would cost you, but I'd bet it's upwards of $3000. For the same investment on a 2.0 turbo, you could assemble a NICE stage 5 tune/hardware package and be making about 350-375 horsepower.
So, not to sound snarky, but no, nobody is doing this.
