I'm kinda having a similar issue.
All posts I've looked up point to the o-rings of the heater core. It is my understanding the heater core of Saabs sit inside of a box that prevents any leaks by escaping through the infamous "elephant trunk" in the top center of the firewall.
While I see some condensation on the windshield now, when I first realized I lost a fair amount of coolant I did not see any condensation.
perhaps a paper towel or something in the "trunk" to see if that is where it is coming. Maybe leave it in there for a while.
I'll be curious to read other input.
