So if you don't want to throw money at the car you need to step up and fault trace your way to the problem.
One way is to check for fault codes in the ABS unit. Fault tracing start with checking ABS to see if code B1376 or 1377 is present. Those two codes are for right/front wheel sensor.
All this is quickly done using the Tech 2 scanner but if you don't have that, you need to manually measure your way and physically inspect wiring's and such.
Since it affects the right/front wheel sensor, a wheel hub is not going to change anything. It might be the sensor or if the tone ring on C/V joint is damaged.
