Okay Harold, now you're talking! There are a couple site sponsors that sell performance parts, as well as several people that are not sponsors. If you get over to the performance board you'll start to learn a little about the possible performance modifications. In the meantime, take a look at jakstollperformance.com, and genuinesaab.com
Different performance "stages" deliver more power as you go up through the stages, but the higher the stage, the more hardware you need to actually get the power. The hardware refers to the exhaust system, air cleaner, intercooler, fuel injectors, turbocharger, etc. A stage 1 performance ECU will deliver a bit more power than you could get with a manual boost controller, about 220hp, and will work with all the stock hardware.
Beyond what I've said, further discussion will be more appropriate on the performance board.
