Guys: You've been very helpful - thanks for the time and wisdom. I took it into town (24 miles RT) this AM and very few misses on the way in. On my way home, I had just cleared town and flashing CEL, bigtime lurching and dies. Pulled out my code reader and got a P1300. Opened the hood to find I had failed to tighten down the air intake on top of the TB ! The dufus factor. It had popped completely off so put it back on and drove the final 10 miles actually sounding decent. I assume the 1300 is a misfire code - not much on the search and nothing in the manual that comes with the reader. I guess I'll cruise it around out here in the country and see what happens, but I think you're right - the TB is living on borrowed time. I did contact BBA several weeks ago asking if they rebuilt the EVAP valves - currently, they do not but are now looking into the possibility. Thanks again, Craig
