Strut housing plate unscrewed

My strut housing keeps unscrewing (very large screw in plate that holds the strut straight). You can hear the strut banging at low speeds over bumps. I even got a used one through an A1 foriegn auto salvage yard. I also matched the color on the spring. It still came loose. However the mechanic who put the replacment on may have not been A1. Bottom line it came unscrewd again.
