If you are absolutely sure you don't have a head gasket problem, check so that the cap, rotor and wires did not get soaked by coolant from the upper radiator hose.
You might have to throw in a new set of wires, cap and rotor since if they are old, they might not ever come back to life even if you try to dry them out.
