However, I believe you will have trouble with the width. The Viggen used 215/45-17 tires because 225 wide tires just would not fit without rubbing.
I know that for my 1998 900SET with 205/55-16 tires, the right rear tire will rub on the fuel fill tube if the car is heavily loaded.
Whatever tire you choose, check the clearance very carefully for any protruding hardware, etc. that may rub the tire.
