Hi, I have the same car , except not a Talledega. The cable actuated clutches are heavy feeling. My TO bearing went bad at about your mileage(125,000), so i installed a viggen clutch assembly and used a New Napa clutch cable.(manually adjustable). Its been perfect for 50-60,000 miles so far.It still feels heavy, like what you are describing. If i had to do it again, i would convert to hydraulic, for sure. If the clutch is original on the car you are looking at, its probably due depending who and how they drove it. A new clutch with a new cable will still feel heavy, but a bit less. Good luck
