I changed my CPS today. Wasn't too hard, but it's best to go at it from under the car. I had a lift at a local auto skills center to use, but you could do it with ramps (about $30 from walmart?) or up on wood blocks.

(prep) Car must be cool. I did it hot and it was a pain - had to use long-sleeves and gloves.
(0) Get a flashlight and a 27.5 Torx bit for your socket wrench. I used a #27 Torx okay. The flashlight is key. The job was suddenly easy when I could see.
(1) Lift car.
(2) From underneath, point your flashlight at the front of the block, just a little toward the passenger's side from the transmission, closer to the center of the car. You will see a sliver, box-shaped cover, about 2" x 3".
(3) The single Torx screw is on the upper-driver's side of the small cover. I inserted my socket wrench from the bottom and sort-of up from the passenger's side. It only turned one ratchet click or so at a time, but it got the job done. No need to remove any pipes or covers.
(4) Remove the screw and the cover.
(5) Grasp the sensor and twist counter-clockwise, then clockwise as you pull. Make sure the o-ring comes out with the sensor.
(6) Climb up-top and trace the wire back along the driver's side of the block.
(7) Remove a single metal clip along the side of the block using a long screwdriver (just push the clip). Needle nose pliers make grabbing the clip easier.
(8) The wire terminates at a group of plugs at the rear, driver's side corner of the valve cover.
(9) Pull the red clip out and the top portion of the plug will pull off.
(10) Reach under the mounting bracket and squeeze the clips that hold the CPS plug in place. The plug will come out the bottom of the bracket.
(11) To install, do it in reverse.
