You have nothing to lose at this point.I had my trans stop working and tried this as a last resort 50000 miles ago. Could be dirt in the valve body. The extra pressure with the Rislone may push it out.Worth a try. If the car starts moving you may have a chance.Good luck
1. Drain the trans.fluid.
2. Buy inexpensive trans fluid (Walmart) and a 32 ounce bottle of Rislone transmission stabilizer with stop slip.
3. Mix half bottle of rislone with the first quart of trans fluid and pour into transmission.
4. Mix the remaining Rislone into another quart of trans fluid and pour into transmission
5.Add one more quart of transmission fluid to transmission. Remember, you are only adding four quarts total. This should be what the capacity is for a change (check your manual). The point is you want to add the entire 32 oz. bottle of Rislone with the correct amount of trans fluid to dilute it and top off the transmission.Check the level when it is running
6.Start the car and run through the gears including reverse. Give the fluid time to thoroughly mix.
7.If the car moves and shifts properly drive it a while with this mixture for a couple of days then drain.
8.Add 1/2 quart of rislone and top off the remainder of the transmission with trans fluid.
9. Drive the car with this mixture if it continues to shift properly for a few weeks.Drain fluid and top off with straight fluid.
