Problem here is that it is a very specific cable and that it is three major weak spots on the same cable.
The lower part where it wiggles back and forth at the clutch fork, the upper part where it wiggles back and forth at the clutch pedal and the plastic "stomp off" plate where the plastic breaks allowing the "stomp off" plate to wander up on the sleeve.
That problem I have fixed by inserting a washer between the plastic plate and rubber grommet and it seems to hold up ok. I just use an exhaust manifold washer, cut a groove through so that I can thread it over the cable and push it into the rubber grommet. But the upper and lower break cannot easily be fixed.
Volvo never had any big problems with the clutch cable itself because it was beefier but at some point it would break down by the clutch fork with lots of use or miles. The clutch fork on the other hand had many different problems through the years where some ate through at the ball pin inside bell housing and some broke at throwout bearing.
