Leaking Coolant, Rough Starts

Hey there,
I have a 2002 9-3 Viggen with about 122k. I replaced the head gasket in January of this year, but recently noticed coolant in my driveway. I topped off the level a bit, but am still losing it at a quick pace. I wasn't overly concerned at first because it seemed to be more of an external leak than into the engine. When I had the head gasket replaced in January, I asked George's Imports to take a look to see if there was anything internal and they saw no evidence of that.
The "Fill Coolant" indicator light is now on when I start the car, and the starts are really rough. Maybe not a rough start per se, but it cranks several times before it turns over. It may be as basic as a bad battery, I haven't even taken it somewhere to have that tested yet, but that made me start to worry that coolant was inside the engine.
Would there be any relation between the engine having a hard time turning over and coolant in the cylinders? I love this car, but it's about to get a ton of work when it's not so flipping cold outside...
Thanks!
