Official ATF Replacement Procedure ?

Just bought a 1999 9-3 and want to change the ATF. Have done the same in my 9-5 using the WIS approach whereby the trans outlet hose is removed and the ATF is replaced in one workshop session. I didn't find this to be all that hard and would prefer to go this route versus the multiple drain-and-fill approach.
My copy of the 9-3 WIS doesn't seem to contain the an ATF replacement procedure. Can the 9-5 approach used on the 9-3?
