My 9-5 seat did that for a while after rain water got into the three memory buttons through the open driver's side window, and I did not wait long for the buttons to dry out completely before using them. The three buttons became stuck (to this day). For a few days after that happened, my seat would engage in similar activity as yours. Then it stopped doing that after about a week, but the three memory buttons are still physically stuck although no longer firing randomly. That's why I looked for manual seats when I shopped for a used convertible. The seat memory buttons should have been designed to face sideways not up so close to the window, but I suppose most cars designed in those years were like that. At least Saabs don't have the window buttons right below the window on a flat surface facing up.
