Sigh... I figured as much. I took it to a local tire shop who were very gloomy; they said removing them would probably be labor intensive and, because the nuts are sunken into the wheel, it would probably result in damage to the wheel, and a much lighter wallet. They were talking about chiseling, drilling, or using a torch though. Of course I'll be looking for a 2nd (and 3rd, and 4th) opinion from some other tire and wheel shops. I'll call McGard too and see if maybe the car was registered with them and they can identify the pattern without the card.
My other plan is to try to contact the previous private owner (not the dealer I bought it from) and see if they might have still have the key. They had to have had it recently, since the tires are relatively new.
I've literally looked in every nook and cranny of the car and no key or ID sticker is to be found anywhere, not even in the spare tire well (where it SHOULD be), the glove box, or in the doorjambs. If I knew how big of a headache this would be, I would have passed on the car.
The lesson here is: Don't use wheel locks, and if you already have them, replace them with regular lugnuts immediately. They are much, much more likely to be a massive inconvenience for you than they are a deterrent for thieves. In fact, in several years of law enforcement I have never worked a single case where only the wheels of a car were stolen, nor has anyone else I know. If the crooks want your wheels, they're going to steal the entire car and strip it completely someplace else, where they'll have the tools to remove the locks anyway.
