leaky headliner in rear- O rings?

97 900s-- lately I've got some water stains around the rear left headliner "button". I'm familiar with 86 900 sunroof tray and drains (been there) but I've read that this rear headliner with a "button" has an 0-ring ? the 86 900 had a hose that was pushed onto a nipple in each corner. Do I just use a tac puller to pry down the headliner button? and remove the rear side C panel to get at the nipple/hose > I assume I don't need to remove the entire headliner.
Please some guidance before I break this plastic part for which I doubt there are replacements. Thanks
