If the window goes down too far, I would be looking for a white piece of broken plastic in the bottom of the door. There is a white plastic square that is the low limit stop for those windows. Unfortunately it is not available seperately. The symptom I see most often is that the window rattles if you close the door with the window down. I suppose it could cause the window to come off the tracks.
