General advice is to change the belt and idler pulley at about 45K as the pulleys start to go around 50K. Changing the belt then is cheap insurance.
However, belts "age" as much as they "wear". If you have six years on that belt, change it. Again, cheap insurance. You can wait on the pulley until it has 45K miles - it does not age like a belt.
