Good to have a spare car to use. If you haven't done extensive work on the car, for example, removing drive shafts, disconnecting ball joints, and actually removing a transmission before, good luck on getting it done in a weekend. There are all sorts of things that can slow you down. Are you doing all the seals? Will you pull the oil pan - perfect time to check it. I just did it and I'm no pro so I'm not trying to discourage you. Absolutely go for it. Just be realistic, depending on your skill level, tool set, and determination. Post any questions.
