We don't hear any clicks when we turn the key. We called the shop to double-check what they had done and the mechanic said that there is no CPS on the 2000 9-3 (?) (so I guess they did not check this). They did hook it up to the Tech 2, the mechanic's notes say: "B1210 seatbelt warning lamp, open circuit, short to ground." They said we could bring it in for more diagnostics--chances are there is a network/ computer problem--gateway may need to be replaced. This situation (and even the terminology) is well beyond our knowledge. Suggestions appreciated. They said it would just be a lot of tinkering and we should plan to be out a car for some time. Not a hopeful sign.
