Turbo down pipe is usually meant the exhaust pipe coming out from the turbo. Did you mean the turbo air intake pipe from air filter?
It is tricky a lots of patience has to be used so that you know for sure the pipe and o-ring gets seated properly before you tighten down the clamp.
Luckily, the clamp kind of butts up against the intake tube so you just have to wiggle and push the tube onto the turbo flange and make sure the clamp also straddles both flanges before tightening the bolt and if you wiggle and rotate the pipe back and forth while turning the bolt, you get it seated pretty good.
