I must have really messed something up today while trying to figure out A/C condensation leak problem in the passenger foot well. As soon as I was done removing the passenger side console panel, the car would not start. There is penty of juice to run the starter, but the engine fails to kick in and start up. Never had this problem before today.
After removing the panel, I looked around for any sort of tubing that might be the drain for the A/C. Did Move wires and cables around
but I didn't disconnect anything intentionally.
Tried a few simple things --- switch DICs and jiggled all of the connectors around that aluminum "box" with the fins on it
)gotta be the computer with my luck -- The only experience i have with this area of a SAAB is with the classics).
To be fair, we had a torrential rain last night and this morning in Atlanta. I actually thought this was the source of the water in the foot well. Not sure how this could be a cause since I drove the car at least
once after the rain and had no trouble starting it.
One final factor. I finally got around to re-activating the A/C system
this week after 3 years without it. It was operational for several days before this problem arose.
I am looking for some coaching on how to check around under the dash for a connector or wire or module I might have accidentally dis-connected.
Thanks as always for sharing your experiences and ideas. They always
exceed mine! Frank
