I finally got the WP on my '01 9-3 SE Turbo(94k miles)fixed without leaks. Thanks to all for the advice. Now the car has developed a pretty good oil leak - about 1/2 quart every 100 miles or so. The leak appears to be coming from the area below or under the WP pully either on the timing chain cover or the engine front (as viewing from the right wheel well). Note - the timing chain cover did sustain some marks from the bad WP pully but as far as I could tell no penetration. Is it possible I damaged some oil line while hoisting the WP out of the engine cavity? There are a number of what appear to be vacuum hoses running through that area - do any carry oil that I could have damaged? Don't see leaking from any but I may not have the right angle.
