otherwise as it says the link will disappear and you'll think you've gone crazy trying to find it to no avail.
i would second the greenish grease being from the cv joint. also, if it was dripping down the wheel well that would make sense getting flung out of the joint/torn boot.
if absolute worst comes to be, you might be able to get away with repacking the cv joint boot with grease and then getting a generic boot. cut the boot lengthwise and zip tie it very securely with the non cut part over the torn part of your boot. make sure the zip ties are tight so the cut boot doesn't slide around. also make sure the zip tie bump/lock part doesn't hit anything when the axle is turning.
that's not a suggested action, just a very last resort to get you down the road because there's no alternative action.
check the mechanics listing here on the bb to see if there is a shop near where you are in louisville.
when you are braking, is the pedal hard? does it sink down low to floor? is the car pulling to one side or the other? what else can you tell us?
