Hi all. Well ive been battling a bearing/growling noise in the front of my 97 900. The noise is most audible from 1800-2200 rpm range and may get drowned out from my Saab sport exhaust at other engine speeds. Im 90% sure the noise is present all the time. Also, the noise is present if im in gear or in nuetral and coasting at various speeds. It is some type of rotational bearing noise. The noise is present when driving straight and gets louder when i turn to the right. The noise goes away when i turn heavy to the left. Things i have tried. 1) New FAG drivers side front wheel bearing. 2) Swap out drivers side axle with a k n own good OEM piece 3) Swapped out both front tires. Now im at a loss, and if i had to now guess, the noise may be originating from the front center of car. I thought for sure it was the wheel bearing, but that did nothing. Car has about 150,000 miles. Any guesses or has anyone experienced this same issue? Thanks in advance
