Have you looked really well for any fuel line leaks? Ever notice any fuel smells? The injectors have various gaskets that can leak, fuel rail/fuel lines could have a leak, one injector could have a slow leak in the nozzle such that it would dump into the cylinder slowly over time.
Since this only happens when hot, I find it hard to believe it has anything to do with the back end of the car. Nothing gets that hot back there, so the issue should happen no matter what the temp. But up front you have TONS of heat that just sits there and causes lots of mayhem. So I think that is where your leak is. They are hard to find because the fuel evaporates immediately. You could try doing the pump cycle procedure without starting the car when the engine is cold and then double check everything up front for leaks. Run your fingers around all the lines and connections...
