You;d have to check the book. There must be some lower level fuses in the main box for the vert motors. The wires running back there won't handle 60 amps. Unfortunately I don't have a 'vert wiring diagram.
Without a blown fuse, the only scenarios I could imagine would be the top computer having an issue (rare) or the ECU loosing the fact that you have a convertible (also rare).
I suppose the console switch could be bad too... then it would not know that you pushed it and you'd get the (no) reaction you have now. One way to test that theory would be to unhook the front latches, manually open the roof an inch, and drive at 10mph. If you don't get a "check latches" message, there's a non-switch problem in the system.
If you think it is the switch, you can carefully open it up and clean the switch parts. Those switches are very heavy duty and it's hard to kill one, although they can need cleaning... especially if you spill coffee on them.
