Correct, I had the same thing a couple weeks ago, turned out to be the left side brake/tail light bulb (which I found to be an amber bulb I assume put in by accident), they came in a package of two so I replaced the right as well.
I like how the car wants you to put your foot on the brakes so it can check to make sure everything is good on the back side...so clever.
