So I finally got to check it out and yep the hydralic mount snapped off at the top and the passanger side/front engine mount is broken. I ordered both and the car has been sitting since Friday morning.
Follow up question......would the failing engine mounts cause the car to shift before they snapped off? The reason I am asking is because I had the car's front end inspected about 2 weeks ago and they said that worn out struts and springs were causing it (not a Saab shop. We don't have one here in State College, PA) so I ordered new struts, mounting kits and got springs off a 1998 900SE that had a bit over 100K in a junkyard. Now that the mounts failed I am wondering if that was causing my front end shift? I am also replacing both lower control arms, bad ball joints. By the time I am done the entire front end is going to be new, LOL!
