Use 5W-40 or 0W-40 full synthetic. ACEA A3/B3 rated.
Oil code guide:
XW-Y
X=What the weight of the oil "behaves like" at cold temp
Y=Weight of the oil at warm ENGINE temp. (Outside temp doesnt matter... warm engine temp is always the same)
ACEA= Oil ratings that define a whole bunch of quality tests, (more that just viscocity)
Note that no oil gets thinner at cold temp, all oils are get thicker as the temperature drops. Its just that a 5W-40 gets as thick as a 5 weight oil *WOULD GET* at the same temp. A straight weight oil (SAE 40 or 40W-40) simply gets as thick as you would expect a 40 weight oil to get a cold temp. A 5W-40 still gets thick when cold, but just not nearly as much.
