I own 2 Viggens and it's almost impossible no to scrape the spoiler. You always have to be alert and driver carefully. I don't think that increasing the tire diameter is going to achieve your goal.
I run 225/45/17
Changing from 215/45/17 to:
225/45/17 increases the overall diameter 1.45%, 225/50/17 approx 4.8%, 225/55/17 approx 8%, and the size often used on Viggens 225/40/18 1.9% (close to 225/45/17.
I know first hand that 225/55/17 will rub and set off the traction control warning. (I tried installing a set temporarily). I think 225/50/17 would be close to doing the same.
I think the best sizes are 225/45/17 and 225/40/18
