Plastic or aluminum pulley wheel?

The one pulley that did fail on me wasn't due to a bearing problem. The plastic pulley wheel was no longer secure around the bearing! You could hear the thing rattling even with the radio on, which gave me the warning I needed to replace it with one of the old idlers I keep around 'just in case'.
It was because of this 'failure mode' that I was considering a Wazee. I don't mind regreasing bearings, but I can't do much if either the plastic wheel fails or aluminum wheel wears excessively.
