I second the Auto-Rx recommendation. It's a little expensive but it's the best I have found to deal with internal deposits. There is a maintenance level of 2oz per change you can go through after the initial cleanup that prevents the buildup from coming back.
Do you have the PCV #6 setup? I never did it on my 2002 9-3SE but it looks really clean under the valve cover so I think it's ok. Mileage was 95k when I got it two years ago.
