Our 95 900s 5dr has finally met it's end...w/it's clutch release bearing seized (original w/250k mi). I've decided the mileage & advancing rust preclude investing in a new clutch, despite the car being rock solid reliable & pleasant to drive (even now).
The dark charcoal interior is excellent w/no stains/smells & minimal wear (99% hwy use). With so many other 900's/9-3's out there w/beat or icky tan interiors, I'd like to find one (rust free & otherwise mechanically sound) & transplant our spiffy seats/door panels, carpet, etc. Sooooo, what years will accept the 1995 interior as a transplant? I'm guessing 94-99, but would appreciate verification. Bear in mind, the seats are manual adjusting, as is the climate control.
Oh, is the engine (2.3 non-turbo) worth anything? It runs super & has had the balance shafts disabled. Sorely tempted to replace the clutch & keep driving it. Entire exhaust is only a year old too...damn rust!
I should probably put the whole shebang up for parts...I just don't wan't to end up running a long term dismantling project.
Thanks for any insight.
